I set out on the RAAM for the first time in 2007 together with the Slovenian pioneer of this challenge, Fredi Virago.

Fredi Virag, who in 2000 discovered the adrenalin-endurance RAAM to the Slovenians and caused a real boom, decided not to participate in the individual competition this year, because he felt that the preparation was not such that he could handle all the efforts by himself. His work commitments did not allow him enough training and optimal preparation, so he decided to compete in the doubles competition for the first time. there wasn’t much to prepare, and the challenges were the same as if there was plenty of time. And despite everything, the result was beautiful in the end. Virago and I drove the almost 5,000 km long race across America with an excellent result, in 8 days and 7 hours, and won 3rd place.
